Tesla knew some of its parts had high failure rates but reportedly blamed drivers anyway

Reuters published an explosive investigative report Wednesday chronicling Tesla's alleged patterns of deliberate neglect and shifting blame onto customers for parts failures. The damning exposé accounts the Elon Musk-led company’s alleged long-running tendency to claim vehicle owners had engaged in “driver abuse,” charging them for repairs over failures caused by parts the company discussed internally as being flawed. The issues are often related to suspension and steering. Externally, Tesla’s portrayal of the problems has ranged from flat-out denial to partial acknowledgment.

Apple iPhone users, time to update your iOS software again. This time to fix unspecified bugs
A week after Apple rolled out a significant software update for iPhones and iPads, the tech company is urging iPhone users to install another update. The iOS 17.2.1 security update, released on Tuesday, is said to include "important bug fixes and is recommended for all users," according to Apple. While the company doesn't specify other security issues the update tackles, it doesn't carry a "Rapid Security Response" label, indicating it's not meant to address an immediate vulnerability.

JPMorgan Says Ethereum Will Outperform Bitcoin In 2024
Despite recent hype surrounding Bitcoin and spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs_, JPMorgan believes that Ethereum will outperform Bitcoin in 2024.
In a Dec. 13 report, JPMorgan analysts wrote, "We believe that next year Ethereum will reassert itself and recapture market share within the crypto ecosystem."
The analysts reason that the Ethereum EIP-4844 upgrade, also known as the Proto-Danksharding upgrade, is expected to take place during the first half of 2024 and is part of a multistep plan to make sharding more efficient on the Ethereum chain.
